The COVID-19 pandemic has had an unparalleled impression on the labor sector most specially in the food and beverage industry here in Metro Manila, Philippines. The inner compression and indecision triggered by the current changing workplace environment have led to undesirable significances for employees. Considering the predictive relationship between employee empowerment and job satisfaction and in light of this unparalleled situation that distresses employees of food and beverage industries particularly in the Moment Group of Restaurants where this study aims to identify the key main indicator of employee empowerment that can lead to employee job satisfaction in the current context. Through a literature review, a theoretical, conceptual and operational model to strengthen employee empowerment in times of COVID-19 is proposed. The main factors are participation in decision making, perceptions of immediate supervisor, perception of higher management, and management of change for employee empowerment and for job satisfactions are the work and workplace, supervisor and management, benefits and rewards, recognition and communication are the indicators use to determine the level of employees perceptions during this pandemic. This article makes contributions to provide a model for employee empowerment on job satisfaction.
