Waterfront landscape in urban fringe are often affected by the dynamic changes of the natural and human environment. We take Beijing Dongba River as the research site, which faces the challenge of environment, urbanization and social culture now, and attempt to take “resilient landscape” as the design concept. The resilient design strategies are proposed, which mainly focused in the regeneration of water, land and materials, as well as the creation of biodiversity. The landscape design at key areas of the research site are demonstrated, in order to further elaborate design strategies and methods.
