The main aim of the present work is to investigate which approach is made by Ukrainians entrepreneurs to launch ethnic ventures in Caserta city. Four factors are relevant in reference to ethnic ventures: sources of funding, nationality of employees, of suppliers and of consumers. They can be affected by the socio-cultural aspects of the origin country or by the socio-economic context in the destination country. According to the influence exercised on the four factors, it is possible to derive and frame four main approaches to ethnic entrepreneurship: supply-based, demand-based, mix-based and vacancy-chain. A sample of forty-two Ukrainian entrepreneurs in the Caserta Region was asked to fill in a questionnaire and the results are presented and discussed in the last part of the work.
