IMPACT OF TORISUM IN OMAN ECONOMY

Oman economy is one of the fast growing economies in the world. The contribution of the tourism sector in the economy is also note worthy. So the government must give more focus on the promotion for this sector this will lead to increase its contribution towards Omani economy. The Main objective of this research was to find out the impact of tourism sector towards the GDP of the country Oman, along with how can we increase this impact and generate more income from the tourism sector. The study reflects some insight on how to work further in the direction of making tourism sector a backbone of the economic system of Oman. I use statistical package for social science (SPSS) software to analysis the data. Two variables have taken, number of tourists visit Oman and real GDP, where number of tourists has considered as independent variable and real GDP as dependant variable. Regression analysis will be used to test relation between tourism sector and GDP in Oman.
